A Suffolk University New Hampshire primary poll shows Hillary with nearly a double-digit lead over her closest competitor, Barack Obama.
The poll showed Senator Clinton receiving 37% of the vote and Obama 19%. Al Gore, who is not a declared candidate, out-polled Hillary when he was added to the list of candidates.
David Paleologos, director of Suffolk University’s political research center who conducted the poll, said Mr Obama’s weak debating performances could be aiding Mr Gore.
“He takes the most votes from Obama. I think a chunk of Obama voters in New Hampshire are anybody-but-Hillary Democrats,” he said.
The far left faction of the New Hampshire Democratic Party is still smarting over Hillary’s refusal to repudiate her vote authorizing the Iraq war and would rather lose the general election than see Hillary in the White House.
For background on New Hampshire’s left wing Democrats, see our previous post, New Hampshire Democrats Trash Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Announcement.

“far left faction”
That’s what you’re calling the anti-war voters, who are at last count about 65 percent of the entire electorate? So in that rationale, that’s all the Democrats and independents put together as far left. Wow.
I can’t wait for Gore to beat Clinton.

“And Al Gore isn’t running and won’t run.” Based on nothing but your desperate hope.
At least 65% of Americans disapprove of the war and want troops to at least start coming home. Can’t be any simpler than that. Dissemble it all you like, the fact remains. Hillary’s on the wrong side of not just her party but all of America. Not a very smart move.
You apparently have no idea what “left-wing extremism” actually is. To say that it even quantifiably exists in this country, let alone pervades the Democratic party, is laughably foolish.
The fact is the Democratic party is a centrist-liberal party opposed to the Republican party which does not have “centrist” anywhere near its description.
And as for your nonsensical “baby-killing despot” non sequitur, I dare say it could be easily established that Bush, working with her allies like Lieberman and Clinton who did not bother to pay attention to the obvious wrongness of the entire military escapade, is responsible for far more dead Iraqi babies than Hussein.
And she is completely unelectable. Keep in mind she’s the only Democrat currently getting trounced by each major Republican candidate in the “horse race,” and she has no room to go up. Most people have already formed an opinion; most don’t like her. They equate her with either being a rabid liberal (laughable) or a triangulating liar who stands for nothing but will offer a stance for anything (likely). If she does get the nomination she will not win, I guarantee, and it just might spell the end of the Democratic party.

So let’s see, ignoring facts while neglecting to offer your own, straw men arguments, pitching ideas as fact (“becoming more favorable”). I think I get it now!
You’re actually a Republican. THAT explains why you’re pushing the Hillary thing so hard.
