According to Granite Status, a New Hampshire state representative who posted on Facebook that “a dead (Sarah) Palin would be even more dangerous than a live one” has now resigned.
State Rep. Timothy Horrigan was not available for comment but state Democratic Party Chairman Raymond Buckley told Granite Status that Horrigan informed him he had sent a resignation email to the Speaker of the House’s office. Buckley issued a statement saying,
“Rep. Horrigan took the appropriate action by resigning today. His comments were inappropriate and do no reflect the views of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. As an elected official, this type of rhetoric is out of line.”
“Well a dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one…she is all about her myth & if she was dead she cldn’t commit any more gaffes,” Horrigan wrote.
