Now that we understand how closely Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and presidential candidate Barack Obama mirror each others thinking — and words — perhaps behind their rhetorical collusion is the “Deval Deal.”

In exchange for letting him “borrow” some fancy verbal flourishes, Obama has agreed to make Patrick his running mate. To paraphrase Hillary’s quip a few elections back, vote for Obama and get two presidents for the price of one.
