Here we are, the erstwhile troops, ready to stand guard at New Hampshire polling stations, and we have heard nothing from the campaign, and it is nearly 10:35 the day of the primary.

This is after reading the summaries of doom and despair from the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, not to mention the gloating from pro-Obama pranksters.

I will be heading out to vote shortly on this balmy winter’s day, then head over to a polling station in Belmont late this afternoon to greet our supporters and count votes.

As optimistic as I am by nature, this is becoming a stomach-turning task I would love to avoid!
