I can’t think of two people on the face of the planet who are more dissimilar than Rush Limbaugh and Hillary Clinton.
To Rush’s dismay, Hillary is still alive and kickin’ (and poised to become our next president). To Hillary’s dismay, Rush is still polluting the airways with his VRWC lies and exaggerations.
But there’s an upside to this political dichotomy. It can be funny. At least I think it can.
Recently, the Hillary Clinton Quarterly published J. Lowe’s humorous take on The World According to Rush Limbaugh and Hillary Clinton. Created in dictionary format, I think Mr. Lowe gets to the heart of their differences.
Earth Day —
Hillary: A day to remember that we all share the same planet, and that we must protect it together against all abuses.
Rush: A day set aside by leftist radicals to contemplate the evils of Capitalism, and to plan strategies against it.
Endangered Species —
Hillary: Any of a thousand species on the edge of extinction.
Rush: The dwindling upper class.
Hillary: Open-minded, clear-headed, far sighted.
Rush: A near-sighted person prescribing rose-colored glasses.
National Health Care —
Hillary: A brilliant plan which I created — and Republicans killed — to provide fair and equal medical coverage to all Americans, regardless of income.
Rush: A plan to make healthy people pay for everyone who smokes too much, drinks too much, and watches Wheel of Fortune while pigging out on potato chips and pork rinds.
