Given the insults and parodies of Sarah Palin, I can hardly empathize with the PC police who are screaming outrage over this harmless poke at Obama.
Does anyone remember the 1993 Spy Magazine cover photo of Hillary Clinton in a dominatrix outfit? Sure, it was over the top but it was still funny and no one had to apologize about it.
How about the parody of Sarah Palin in a bikini holding a rifle? Anyone expressing outrage over that one? Of course not.
To everyone who is up in arms, if you really have a problem with this then you ARE a racist! I say, Get a life and a sense of humor!

All three of those “good humor” photos are in poor taste, Rake, and I suspect you know it too.
Hillary’s I never saw during the campaign, but Palin’s I did. Both are sexist, to say the least.
But that certainly doesn’t justify the racist fried chicken and watermelon cartoons in the Obama spoof. They might as well stamp (worded edited out –we do not let the n-word on this blog!) on it, but I suppose you would allow that? The Kool Aid icon was fine.

I said that I did not think they were in poor taste and that is a simple matter of opinion. In fact, when the Hillary spoof came out we reprinted it in the Hillary Clinton Quarterly. Maybe you get spooked by fried chicken, Hillary could take a little parody without getting freaked out.
What I was concerned about was the “screaming outrage” about the Obama-Bucks. I think it is an over-reaction, especially in light of the other purported insults made in this election. There’s a danger that such attempts at censorship will harm our right to freedom of speech.
But, for the record, what I DO find outrageous is the public lynching of “Joe the Plumber” by the Obama pitbulls and the Media Gestapo. Talk about abridging our right to freedom of speech! All the man did was ask THAT ONE a legitimate question and he was strung up and whipped. What a disgrace to the Democratic party.
Also in the outrageous category:
* Michelle Obama, “First Lady of the People,” ordering Iranian caviar and champagne.
* Rev Jeremiah Wright and his openly racist, anti-American views, which Obama lied about until forced to admit the truth.
* Bill Ayers, an American Terrorist who has been a friend of Obama’s and who launched BO’s campaign — another sordid association which Obama has lied about.
* ACORN, which Obama worked for as a trainer, has used to commit voter fraud , to whom he has given over $800,000 and then lied about it, and about whom he continues to lie, even in the last debate with McCain.
Those are just a few of the things that I find “outrageous,” not some silly photos or images that party partisans find offensive.
And I do wonder why you consider friend chicken and watermelon racist? I know plenty of white people who eat both. In fact, I LOVE watermelon. Should I be offended?
People like you overlook the shit you step in day after day as Obama supporters and then pick and choose the crap you want to complain about.
