Boys against the girls: Democratic party “fathers” gang up on Hillary.

As I was mumbling into my breakfast today about the calls for Hillary to quit the campaign, it struck me that all the Quislings were men!

Hate to bring up that gender thing again, but here they are:

Senator Patrick Leahy (Elected for life in the 80% Obama state of Vermont, his hemorrhoids are so bad he has to speak in a whisper lest he break out in a cold sweat.)

Senator John Kerry (The quintessential Momma’s boy, our worst candidate since Ohio Governor Cox lost to Warren G. Harding.)

Senator Ted Kennedy (“I knew John Kennedy, Ted, and you’re no John Kennedy.” Got drunk, murdered Mary Jo Kopechne, failed presidential candidate (twice), appointed to a lifetime sentence in the Senate. Everyone leaves when he gives his speeches. Resents the Clintons, especially Hillary.)

Bill Richardson (No more Mr. Nice Guy, Richardson has been viciously biting the hands — Bill’s and Hillary’s — that gave him a career in Washington in Bill Clinton’s Cabinet.)

Howard Dean — (Responsible for the Democratic primary mess that is leaving the voters of Florida and Michigan out in the dark (to Hillary’s disadvantage). Remember, also, that many of his former supporters from Blue State Digital now work for Obama, Kennedy, and Kerry. Remember that “1984″ anti-Hillary video? That came from Blue State Digital. Dean is doing “the right thing” and not letting Florida and Michigan count because it helps Obama. There’s no other reason. The only way those votes will count will be after Dean resigns.

So there you are: the chorus asking Hillary to quit are men with agendas of their own.

And this today from Bill Clinton in a message to contributors:

“Here’s the most important thing you need to know about this race: it’s neck-and-neck.

Only 130 delegates separate Hillary from Senator Obama — and that’s not counting Florida and Michigan. The difference in popular vote is less than 1 percent, and millions of voters have yet to make their voices heard. This election should be about their choice.

But now we’re hearing people — elected officials, party members, and Obama campaign surrogates — call for Hillary to pull out.

With the race this close, it sure doesn’t make sense to me that she’d leave now — does it make sense to you?

There’s no better way to tell Hillary that you support her staying in than to make a contribution to her campaign — and no better time to contribute than right now.

We’re facing a big deadline on Monday. Our opponents and the media will scrutinize our fundraising reports and look for any sign of weakness. By making a contribution today, you can help make sure we show nothing but strength.

Contribute by our midnight Monday deadline to help us show our strength.

I know that Hillary never forgets exactly why she is running. Her commitment to the people of this country never wavers.

At this critical moment, all of us supporting Hillary must make sure we are just as focused as she is. With all the talk of the state of the race, all the people telling her she should just give up, you and I must make sure she has everything she needs to stay in this race.

With our big fundraising deadline coming up midnight Monday, we need to show the critics and the doubters that this campaign is running full steam ahead with the determination to win.

Contribute now to help us reach our $3 million goal by midnight Monday.

My family isn’t big on quitting. Hillary’s in this race to win, and she’s in it thanks to you. “

Barack Obama’s profiles in courage.

First things first: I’m glad I am not running for president. You should be glad, too. I have the memory of someone with advanced Alzheimer’s disease. I can barely remember what I had for dinner yesterday, much less my dramatic moments 12 years ago.

The Obama campaign and web sites like Politico are all whirred up that Hillary’s recollection of a trip to Bosnia when she was First Lady was not as Hollywood-inspired and dramatic as it sounded. In fact, when she landed there was sniper fire in the hillside around her. She was not personally in direct physical danger.

That was in 1996. While Hillary was visiting war-torn Bosnia, what earth-shattering events was Barack Obama involved in?

In turns out, as a newly-elected pol in the Illinois state senate, most of Obama’s profiles in courage consisted of pushing the wrong voting button on six major pieces of legislation.

According to the LA Times

Barack Obama angered fellow Democrats in the Illinois Senate when he voted to strip millions of dollars from a child welfare office on Chicago’s West Side. But Obama had a ready explanation: He goofed.

“I was not aware that I had voted no,” he said that day in June 2002, asking that the record be changed to reflect that he “intended to vote yes.”

That was not the only misfire for the former civil rights attorney first elected to the state Senate in 1996. During his eight years in state office, Obama cast more than 4,000 votes. Of those, according to transcripts of the proceedings in Springfield, he hit the wrong button at least six times.

This is the candidate who scoffed at Hillary’s “3:00 am phone” call video? This is the same candidate who now scoffs at the First Lady visiting a war zone, sniper fire in the hills, while he is safe in his posh Chicago digs, voting on the wrong side of major pieces of legislation? He thinks he’s ready to lead America?

He’s the candidate who can’t shoot straight or push straight.

Bill Richardson had the wrong candidate in mind when he spoke of gutter politics. When I look into the gutter I see Obama and His Friends, the Rev. Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and a variety of other anti-American extremists who will say anything, do anything, to win this nomination.

If he does, the real victor will be John McCain.

More fact than fiction: the 3:00 am phone call.

For copyright reasons, the SNL video is no longer available. Instead, we are publishing this video of Obama waffling on the Wright issue.

Barack Obama: Let the whining begin!

Some of you might remember a little dig Obama made during the Cleveland debate about Hillary “whining.” As I recall, he claimed that his positions had been misinterpreted by the Clinton campaign but he had never “whined” about it.

“That’s the nature of these campaigns,” said Obama.

Now we have Hillary’s new ad showing voters the consequences of not having the right person as commander-in-chief when the next world crisis hits us.

Well, let the whining begin!!!

Obama and his campaign are pissed now — the truth hurts! — and are trying to sell the press that Hillary’s ad is the same as the famous Johnson “nuclear explosion” ad that ran against Goldwater. If Obama can stretch the truth that far, we should start calling him “Rubber Man.”

The fact is, Obama is whining because Hillary has struck a nerve. She is right and Obama knows it. He is NOT ready to answer that phone and handle an international crisis. My goodness, he didn’t know the name of the new president of Russia, he wants to bomb Pakistan, he thinks Al-Qaeda is not already in Iraq, and he never bothered to hold hearings on HIS subcommittee concerning Afghanistan –

As Hillary reminded us during the Cleveland debate: “He chairs the Subcommittee on Europe. It has jurisdiction over NATO. NATO is critical to our mission in Afghanistan. He’s held not one substantive hearing to do oversight, to figure out what we can do to actually have a stronger presence with NATO in Afghanistan.”

Here’s a Newsday story about Barack breaking out his WHINE.

And here’s an ad that tells is like it is:
